Usage
Diphenylamine is used:
- For the production of antioxidants for polymers.
- As a stabilizer and phlegmatizing agent for thermal and weather resistance of cellulose nitrates, including pyroxiline powders.
- In the synthesis of triarylmethane and azo dyes, insecticides.
- As a corrosion inhibitor for mild steels.
